New Custom Church Stained Glass Project: St. Edward’s

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve completed our custom church stained glass project for a Pennsylvania-based church. St. Edward’s Church was looking to create a memorial stained glass piece for their pastor that had passed away. They wanted to replace the large window in the observatory that was overlooking the main street so they could conceal the view during all of their services. This church interviewed various companies across the country and decided to go with ours.

The Custom Church Manufacturing Process for St. Edward’s

Since this took place at the beginning of the pandemic, we had to rely on electronic communication for the design process. We shared different iterations of the tree of life for the church to review. During the design finalization process, Father Rick mentioned that he would like to create another stained glass design in the future based on his favorite teaching from the Bible – Jesus on the Sea of Galilee. We decided to draft up this design as well for review. The church and Father fell in love and chose this design for their main observatory window. We wanted to showcase a varied selection of people along with calm waters in order to depict the calm after the storm. Even though we had some installation challenges with the existing curtain wall, we were able to create one cohesive design.
