Sometimes our clients have a strong idea of what they want at our first consultation. If they can describe it or show us a photo, we can sketch it and build it. Other times, we help our clients to come up with a theme and offer our own photos and ideas. Since each congregation, each religion, and each denomination is different, it’s only natural that the stained glass that would suit them is different as well.

Our process for creating custom religious stained glass in Houston is quite simple. We meet with you right in your church or other religious institution. Together, we will finalize the design, with sketches to scale. Once the design is agreed upon, we will use special computer design software to create the actual pattern that our stained glass artisans will work from. Once they receive it, they cut each piece of glass by hand, to the pattern. They assembled the stained glass by hand, the same way the masters of old did.
Once the stained glass is complete, we install it into your church windows or doors, where it can last for many generations. If it ever needs any kind of repair, Houston Stained Glass has extensive repair and restoration experience as well.

Martin Faith is the founder and owner of Houston Stained Glass. Martin has been cultivating his skills as a stained glass artisan for over 30 years, passing on his knowledge and expertise to his team so that, together, they can create the most beautiful stained glass windows the world has ever seen. Martin's initial education in the trade took place in Glasgow, Scotland, the stained glass capitol of the world. He is an expert in the history of stained glass, its evolution, methods for conservation, and its many different styles and forms, including art deco, prairie, Greene & Greene, art nouveau, Mackintosh, floral, mission, beveled, and contemporary. Over the years, Martin's company has produced thousands of stained glass windows, which includes custom creations made for homes, churches, and commercial buildings located all throughout the Houston metro area.
