Custom stained glass can add some style to your basement pub.

Some Houston homes have basement areas with finished bars for entertaining friends and family. To really finish these areas off and turn them into something spectacular, you might consider some custom stained glass. Adding a custom stained glass piece to the cabinets, or maybe a hanging piece behind the bar could give it a unique style.

After all, why should your basement be dull? Basement stained glass offers an unexpected jolt of class and color and beauty to your basement, whether you have a bar, an entertainment room, a family room, or even your office down there.

Many commercial bars have a stained glass backdrop behind the actual bar. You can riff off of this idea and have a custom stained glass backdrop designed for the bar in your Houston home. It can be any style, any pattern, and any color glass you like. It can even be backlit to really show off the beauty of the stained glass. This might well become the focal point of your entire basement. And don’t be surprised if you are bitten by the stained glass bug, and decide to add more custom panels to other areas of your home.

By the way, don’t forget basement stained glass when it comes to your windows. Depending on what kind of basement you have, the windows might or might not be an issue. If you’ve spend a lot of money remodeling and decorating your basement for a specific purpose, you might be disappointed that there is nothing to be done with those little ugly well windows except to cover them up. Stained glass is the perfect choice to bring those windows up to the level of the rest of your basement’s décor.

And if you really want to unify that basement’s décor, consider stained glass windows, a matching backdrop for the bar, or matching cabinet doors. Voila! Instant high-end designer look. After all, if you use your basement, why should it be not as lovely as the rest of your home? Aesthetics are important in every room, don’t you agree?
